Pyncheon Bantam Project
September 2007
After much research and no luck at finding any breeding
stock I have begun the process of creating Pyncheon Bantams. The
Pyncheon is considered among the rarest of the rare in the bantam
world. It is a true bantam with a medium single comb, the millie fleur
pattern and a tassel. Thanks to Tim Adkerson for his guidance regarding
this project. Below you will see my first attempt using a millie fleur
Old English cock on two hens of mixed decent with tassels.
Fertile eggs are in the incubator and I will post pictures as chicks
hatch this fall.
